Front Desk — Managed AI Receptionist

A 24/7 assistant that answers your phone, answers customer questions, and books jobs straight into your calendar — built and maintained by us, not by you.

$397 a month with 300 talk minutes included. Past that it is $0.35 a minute — only minutes actually used — or add 300 minutes for $99 a month. Spam calls never billed.

Cheaper options exist. Here's the honest difference.

You can buy AI receptionist software for around $29 a month. It's real software and it works — but you write the scripts, configure the rules, connect the integrations, test it, and fix it when it says something wrong. That's usually 10 to 25 hours of your time up front, plus ongoing upkeep.

We do all of that for you and keep tuning it every month. If you'd rather build it yourself, Dialzara and Voksha are legitimate tools and we'll point you to them.

For comparison, a live human answering service runs $235 to $300+ a month for far less capability, and a full-time receptionist costs $53,000 to $60,000 a year.

Website

A fast, custom-coded website built to make your phone ring — not a template your competitors are also using. Live in about a week.

$297 a month managed — build, hosting, security, backups and routine edits all included — or own it outright for $2,500 one-time with an optional $147 a month Care Plan after. On the monthly plan, half of every payment counts as credit toward the $2,500 buyout. Or get the site included on the Growth plan.

Local Visibility

We focus on Google Maps visibility, reviews, and local listings — the part that moves the needle fastest for local service businesses. We do not chase nationwide rankings or buy links from other sites, and we'll tell you honestly if that's what you need.

How long until it works

Service Speed to results Effort from you Best at
Managed AI Receptionist Days Low Catching leads you already get
Website 1–3 months Medium Turning visitors into calls
Local Visibility 2–6 months Medium Creating new leads

It's a chain. Local Visibility gets people to find you. Your website convinces them you're the right call. The AI receptionist makes sure that call gets answered and booked. If you can only start with one, start with the AI receptionist — it pays back fastest.

Where each service wins — and where it doesn't

Managed AI Receptionist — the honest version

Where it wins

  • Fastest payback of anything we offer. Miss a few $300 jobs a week and it pays for itself immediately.
  • Works while you sleep. Roughly a third of service calls come in after hours.
  • You stop answering the phone from under a sink or on a roof.
  • No turnover, no sick days, no training.
  • Every call is written down and searchable.

Where it doesn't

  • It isn't a human, and a small number of callers notice and prefer a person.
  • It's only as good as the information you give us. The first 2–4 weeks are tuning.
  • Angry customers and unusual custom quotes still need you. We set escalation rules.
  • It does not create demand. If your phone isn't ringing at all, you need visibility first.
Website — the honest version

Where it wins

  • Instant credibility. People check your site before they call.
  • Custom-coded, so it loads faster and doesn't look like your three competitors' Wix sites.
  • Built to convert: tap-to-call, clear service pages, real calls to action.
  • Fast sites make paid ads cheaper if you ever run them.
  • It is the foundation both Google results and paid ads need.

Where it doesn't

  • A website alone doesn't bring customers. It converts traffic, it doesn't create it.
  • Results build gradually, not overnight.
  • We need input from you: photos of your work, service details, reviews.
  • Buy it outright for $2,500 and the code is yours from day one — or go monthly and build toward that buyout with every payment. The $147 a month Care Plan after ownership is optional upkeep, not rent.
Local Visibility — the honest version

Where it wins

  • This is where local customers come from. "Plumber near me" searchers are ready to buy today.
  • The traffic is free and compounds. No cost per click.
  • Reviews are the biggest trust factor there is, and they lift your Maps ranking.
  • Most competitors do this badly or not at all, so it's winnable.
  • It's measurable — Google Maps tracking reports show exactly where you rank.

Where it doesn't

  • It's slow. 60–90 days for real movement, 4–6 months in competitive markets.
  • Results depend on your market. Small town is fast, saturated metro is a climb.
  • Google changes the rules. Anyone promising a guaranteed #1 ranking is lying.
  • It needs participation from you — asking for reviews, sending job photos.

Better Together

Bundled, the website and Google presence cost nothing extra — Essentials is $597 a month and includes the website build; Growth is $997 a month and adds the Google work. Running multiple locations? Market Leader starts at $1,797 a month.

Service by service: what is included and how it gets done

This is the detail that used to sit behind tabs on the homepage. Nothing here is a surprise on a call — it is the actual scope.

The three pieces, at a glance

AI receptionist — what it handles

The receptionist answers calls and greets people like part of your team, collects the name, number, job type, address and urgency, and answers the questions you get twenty times a week: hours, services, pricing ranges, and the towns you cover. It helps schedule appointments and confirm details, follows up on missed calls by text or email if you turn that on, and sends a clean summary of every conversation to your inbox. Day or night, every call gets a recording and a transcript.

It plugs into the tools you already use. Calendars and booking: Google Calendar, Outlook, Calendly, Acuity. Customer and job software: Zoho, HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Jobber, Housecall Pro. Automation and telephony: n8n, Zapier, Make, Twilio, Stripe, or any custom webhook. You do not switch software — details get pushed where you already look for them.

Included: 24/7 call answering trained on your business; capture of name, number, job type, address and urgency; appointments booked straight to your calendar; a text and email summary after every call.

How it gets set up: a one-minute form, then a 15–30 minute consultation covering your services, hours, pricing, service area, calendar and the questions customers actually ask. We build a strong first version, connect it to your customer and job software, calendar and inbox, and test it with you before it goes live. After launch we keep tuning it as your services and pricing change, using what actually happens on real calls.

Websites — what you get and how it is built

Not a template and not a drag-and-drop builder: a real site coded for speed and for the way local customers actually find you. Built around your services, your service areas and your customer journey, mobile-first, and fast on a phone on a bad connection. Slow load times, layouts that break on phones and a missing call button are the three things that send people back to the search results.

Included: home, about, services and a contact page that works; click-to-call buttons everywhere callers expect them; working contact forms; photo galleries, reviews and FAQ sections where they fit your trade; an SEO foundation rather than an SEO upsell. No fifty-page bloat — just the pages that bring in calls.

It connects to your other tools: Google Analytics, Search Console and Tag Manager; Mailchimp, ConvertKit, HubSpot, Zoho; Calendly, Acuity, Stripe, Jobber, Housecall Pro; and the AI receptionist itself, so leads land where you will see them.

Timeline. Day 1 is discovery and strategy — your business, your customers, your competitors, and what success looks like. Day 2 is homepage and key service page design, which you review with one round of revisions. Days 3–5 are the custom-code build: mobile-first, SEO-friendly, forms, click-to-call and booking wired up. Day 6 is QA across devices, browsers, forms and buttons, plus a staging walkthrough with you. Day 7 is launch, with Search Console, Analytics and sitemap set up, and tweaks through your first week. Honest caveat: most small-business sites launch in about a week, but portals, ecommerce and custom booking usually take two to three weeks, and we scope that with you up front. You own the site.

Google Business Profile — the rebuild

An incomplete listing reads to Google as a business that is not serious about being found. We claim or take over the listing, verify ownership, clean up duplicate listings, choose the right primary and secondary categories, and write a description that uses the words your customers actually type. Then we fill in what most listings leave empty: ten to twenty geotagged photos of your work, team and location; every service you offer with a short description; service areas, hours, holiday hours and attributes.

Keeping it working: a review request system that texts or emails after every job, weekly Google Posts, and replies to reviews — good and bad — written in your voice. A live listing outranks a frozen one.

Timeline. Day 1 is the audit: your profile, your site and your top three competitors, including a check for duplicate listings, which is a common silent killer. Days 2–3 are the profile itself — categories, services, service area, hours, photos and Q&A. Day 4 is cleaning up your business listings so your name, address and phone match everywhere, plus service pages, the hidden code Google reads, speed and phone layout. Day 5 sets up the review system with response templates. From there it is posts, reviews, responses, rank tracking and a monthly plain-English report. You keep ownership of the listing, always, and you get a document showing what changed and why.

Local visibility and SEO — the long game

On-page work first: keyword research for your trade and your city rather than generic guesses, page titles and meta descriptions rewritten for both clicks and ranking, and city pages so you show up for the town-by-town searches instead of one generic city term. Off-page next: submitted and verified on Yelp, Bing, Apple Maps, BBB and Nextdoor, plus the directories specific to your trade, with name/address/phone mismatches fixed across the web. Then content and reporting: one or two new pages a month targeting specific services and neighborhoods, and a monthly report on rankings, calls and traffic in plain English, including an honest “this is working, this is not” note.

What to expect. Ads stop the day you stop paying; this compounds instead. First month is cleanup — site speed, page titles, missing tags, broken links — which on its own tends to move things. Expect early movement in 60–90 days and meaningful change in four to six months. Nobody can honestly guarantee a #1 ranking, in a week or ever, and anyone who does is selling you something.
